Hachi Garage Terms and Privacy

The short version

Hachi Garage is owned by Hachi. Your purchase lets you use it for your own cars or your own shop. Please don't resell it, share it or give away copies. Your records are yours: Hachi doesn't sell or share them.

1. License: personal use only

When you buy Hachi Garage, Hachi gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. You may keep copies for your own use, on your own devices, and use it to keep records for your own vehicles or for your own repair shop or fleet.

You may not sell, resell, share, give away, rent, publish or upload Hachi Garage or any copy or modified version of it, in whole or in part. This includes offering it as a template, in a bundle or on a marketplace. You may not remove or change the Hachi name or this notice, or present it as your own work.

Your cars, entries and settings are saved to your Hachi Garage account so they're available on each device you sign in to. They're stored by Supabase, Hachi's database provider, in Singapore, and sent over encrypted connections. A copy is also kept on each signed-in device so the app works offline.

You sign in with Google. Hachi receives your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and keeps your license key, the devices you've signed in on and when they were last used. This is used to run your account, limit your license to its devices and give support.

Hachi doesn't sell or share your data, show ads or use tracking or analytics. Hachi only looks at your records if you ask for help with them. To delete your account and all its records, message Hachi at @hachi540i.

When you enter your license key, it's checked with Gumroad, the store you bought from. About once a week the license is checked again so refunded purchases stop working.

Backup and CSV files you download contain all your records, including names and phone numbers. Keep them somewhere safe, and get permission before you store other people's details, such as customers' names and contact numbers.

If you contact Hachi for support, the details you send are used only to reply to you.

4. No warranty

Hachi Garage is provided as is. Service intervals and reminders are a general guide only and are not professional advice. Always follow the vehicle maker's owner's manual and the advice of a qualified mechanic, and check your figures before relying on them.

To the extent the law allows, Hachi is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of Hachi Garage, including vehicle damage, missed maintenance, incorrect calculations or lost data. Keep your own backups of anything important.

5. Purchases and refunds

Because this is a digital product, refunds follow the policy of the store or channel where you bought it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

6. Changes and contact
